Blessed out

Yesterday, I was rambling on to my mom about something that made me stressed out. Her response to me was “You’re not stressed out, you’re blessed out!”

I was rebuked! Ha, but in all seriousness that stuck with me. It got me thinking about how as believers, having the Holy Spirit living inside of us, we should not play into the whole stress game that the world tries to throw at us.

When pressures start to pile on.. we need to remember all that we have because of all that Jesus did at the cross! We need to remember how blessed we are because of how much He loves us! Jesus came so that we might have life, and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

Even if we’re not seeing the break through of blessings in the physical realm yet, remember that because of Christ we are eternally blessed in the forever realm! If we keep our minds set on that and on all of God’s wonderful promises.. the blessings will eventually break through to the natural realm. God’s word will never return to Him void, folks (Isaiah 55:1!).

Jeremiah 17:7-8
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in Him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”

I pray that you all go into this week blessed out!
